After a year sabbatical, Britney returned with a new single, launched at the NFL Superbowl Half-Time show. Despite reluctance from her record label, who wanted "Outrageous" to be her comeback, Britney fought for "Me Against The Music" and won by asking Madonna to appear on the track. Co-written by Britney with RedZone, who became huge in 2007, "Me Against The Music" reached #35 on the USA Hot 100, #2 in the UK, and hit the top 5 internationally.
