"And Then We Kiss" was written for "In The Zone" by Britney alongside two members of UK production team, Metro, at the same time as "Breathe On Me". The original version was earmarked as a bonus track, but eventually saw release in remix form in late 2005 with British producer, Junkie XL, famous for his #1 reworking of Elvis's "A Little Less Conversation" at the helm, turning it into a trip-hop club anthem to promote Britney's first remix collection.
