Britney reunited with Max Martin for the first time since 2002's "Overprotected" on "If U Seek Amy." The controversial track was highlighted on the album, becoming the third most downloaded song from the album on its release, and winning fan polls, so was an obvious choice for third single, with threats from various American family groups to boycott the track, despite the censoring to "If U See Amy" or simply "Amy" for radio stations across the globe.
