Whilst on "maternity leave," after releasing her greatest hits collection, Britney released a special one-off single to promote the DVD of her reality TV show, "Britney & Kevin: Chaotic," entitled "Someday (I Will Understand)." The track was written shortly before she found out she was pregnant in early 2005, and produced by Guy Sigsworth, with a Michael Haussman-directed black & white video. The single was commercially released in Europe, backed with remixes, and was sent out to UK radio to promote the DVD.
