Following the divorce settlement talks, Britney headed to the Hollywood bar, Bridge, for 30minutes; her first visit since rehab, before leaving. |

Nelly Furtado Speaks About Britney |
23rd March 2007 |
Nelly Furtado, who worked with Timbaland on her album, "Loose," said it's no surprise Timbaland wants to work with Britney, as he is "obsessed with freshness and originality." She added that she felt for Britney, saying, "First of all, when she became a mother, I really felt for her in those situations where she was being caught doing, like, illegal things in her car with child seats and stuff. You could tell that she was under such pressure from the paparazzi that she was behaving in rash ways. So that's what made me feel for her. And I can sympathise 'cause I'm a mother too, and I know those first couple of years are difficult. You know, you're becoming a new person. She's a young mother. I can't imagine what it would be like to mature in the spotlight from the age of 13 to 20. Those are precious years and it would be really hard to grow up in the spotlight. Breakdown is inevitable in that situation. Human beings can only deal with so much when you're only one person. You know, you need an escape." |

Mark Ronson Approached For Britney's 5th Album |
23rd March 2007 |
Producer Mark Ronson, who has worked with Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen and Sugababes, and who has covered "Toxic" for his new solo album spoke to MTV UK about Britney, saying, "I definitely think she can come back. I think she's slightly more interesting than all the other [female popstars] because there's something quite troubled and vulnerable about her now. You're like, 'Oh yeah, she's a bit loopy and as messed up as the rest of us'. So if she comes back with a great song I think she will be even more popular. I think if she'd gone around for another 3 months not wearing underwear it might've been a different story but she's managed to stay on the other side of Lindsay Lohan who's just become a joke. Some people have reached out from her label. But I'm not sure. She might be one of those people that I can appreciate their music from afar. 'Toxic' is an amazing song but I'd never have produced a song like that, it's just not my style. It's much more modern and slick. I'm not sure if we'd be a good match." |
