Britney Is Third Most Followed On Twitter

Britney has posted a message to fans, after it was announced that she is the third most followed person (after CNN and Barack Obama, the president of the United States!) on Twitter, saying, "Just want to thank all of my beautiful fans for making me 3 on Twitter! Love you guys! Brit" - Britney ranks above the official Twitter page, which is at #4!
"If U Seek Amy" Video On Sale In The USA

The video for "If U Seek Amy," which is due to premiere on UK TV stations in the next few weeks, for a commercial release in early May, has been added to iTunes USA for $1.99 this week, and has soared to the top spot in the iTunes most downloaded music videos chart, after only hours of being available for purchase.

The Jake Nava directed video to Britney's latest single, "If U Seek Amy," which was written by Max Martin, has premiered on Britney's official web site, featuring an introduction parody of the Fox news reporter who was outraged by the song's 'meaning'. The video opens with a lookalike of the host, Megan Kelly and her show, with the tag line, "Britney Spears Song Lyrics Spell Out Obscenity In Disguise," as she reads the title of the song, closing with her saying, "Doesn't make any sense, does it?" The video features Britney in a backroom orgy, with dancers sauntering around, building to the hidden surprise that she is actually a perfect white picket fence suburban mother, posing for the paparazzi.
Conservatorship To End Sooner According To Reports

According to reports, Jamie Spears' indefinite conservatorship over his daughter, Britney Spears, will end sooner than initially planned, due to the immense progress she has made over the past year, successfully turning her life around, and taking her back on tour, accompanied by her two children. The report states that she is in a 'teriffic' place right now, and loves where she is at, and that the conservatorship will end when Britney is ready to resume full control.
"If U Seek Amy" Video To Premiere This Week

The third video from "Circus," the Jake Nava directed, "If U Seek Amy," which was written by Max Martin, will premiere this week on Britney's official web site, with reports comparing it to "I'm A Slave 4 U" (2001) in terms of its overall 'hotness'. The video will premiere this Thursday, 12th March 2009, with a TV premiere shortly after.
Britney Visits Children's Hospital In Miami

Before her next date in the "Circus" tour in Miami, following New Orleans and Atlanta, Britney visited Miami Children's Hospital for a surprise visit with sick children, where she also donated £75,000 ($100,000) to the hospital's Big Apple Circus Clown Care, a community outreach program that brings the joys of the circus to hospitalized children at 19 leading pediatric facilities across the United States. Paedeatric radiologist Ricardo Restrepo and Lee Schrager, Director of Media for Southern Wine and Spirits America, arranged for Britney to visit the Miami hospital, posing for photos with the children so they had a momentum to remember her visit, staying and chatting with the children.
Ciara To Join UK Dates Of "Circus" Tour

Ciara, best known for her hit singles, "Goodies" and "1, 2 Step" with Missy Elliott, will join Britney Spears on the UK dates of her The Circus Starring Britney Spears tour, as she promotes her third studio record, "Fantasy Ride." In an excited message to fans, Ciara says, "I am going on tour with Britney Spears overseas! OK, I just wanted to tell you all that - I will be touring with Britney Spears overseas in Europe. So, I'll be doing some dates with her! It's gonna be a lot of fun! And I'll make sure that I get some good footage for all my fans in the USA so you can see what's going on!"

After an absence of over four years, Britney Spears made her triumphant return to the arena stage last night in New Orleans as The Circus Starring Britney Spears tour kicked off to rave reviews and press from the likes of "People," "Us Weekly," MTV, Perez Hilton, "E!" and the Associated Press. Featuring a combination of newly recorded studio vocals and CD vocals, Britney energetically danced her way through the hour and a half set, breaking only for "Everytime" and a cover of Duffy's "I'm Scared," from her "Rockferry" album - 50 photos from the night are in the gallery!
Britney Becomes Face Of Candie's & Rehearsal Video

Britney Spears has signed an exclusive contract with Candie's Only at Kohl's to become their new spokesperson, and has shot an exclusive series of photos modelling their new fashion. Britney said, "I'm so excited to be the face for Candie's Only at Kohl's. Candie's and Kohl's are doing such great things with my tour. It's great to work with a line that has such cool clothes and accessories." To celebrate the partnership, Candie's have uploaded an exclusive video clip of behind the scenes at Britney's photoshoot for them, and rehearsals for her forthcoming tour here!
'Circus' Tour Set-List Revealed

The set-list for Britney's forthcoming tour, which begins tomorrow night in New Orleans, has been announced, featuring four main sections - the 'Circus', the 'House Of Fun', 'Freakshow/Peepshow', 'Electro Circus' and the 'Encore'. In addition to "Circus," "Womanizer," "If U Seek Amy," "Piece Of Me," "Radar" and some previous hit singles, such as "...Baby One More Time," "I'm A Slave 4 U," "Boys," "Me Against The Music" and "Toxic," there are also previous album tracks from "Blackout" and "In The Zone," such as "Get Naked," "Freakshow," "Ooh Ooh Baby," "Hot As Ice" and "Breathe On Me."
