"...Baby One More Time" tour
june-september 1999
Following her mini-tour of American malls, and touring as a supporting act, Britney set out on her first headlining tour in June 1999 to support the "...Baby One More Time" album. Featuring costumes from Gia Ventola, such as a hot pink vinyl tube top and white vinyl trousers with pink knee patches, the tour had one main prop, a staircase in the middle. The set list included a tribute to Madonna and Janet, as well as a cover of Journey's "Open Arms."
