“In The Zone” has a 25% sales increase this week, climbing to #25 from #30 on the official UK top 40 albums chart. “Toxic” has left the top 40 singles chart, but is still in the top 75 at #63 (from #50) this week.
According to the Ying Yang Twins, who feature on the track and have been asked to appear in the video, “(I Got That) Boom Boom” will be the next single from “In The Zone.” “TRL” in the USA have also mentioned the news on their show.
Britney’s MTV special “Britney Spears: In The Zone & Out All Night” has won an Emmy award for Outstanding Achievement in Single Camera Editing. Congratulations to the editors – Will Knight, Graham Frazier and Billy Murphy!
“In The Zone” has been released in extremely high quality Dolby surround sound on DVD audio in the US and Canada. The disc features the 13 tracks from “In The Zone,” the videos for “Me Against The Music” and “Toxic,” and a biography and photo gallery. The DVD audio version is due to be released on 17th May 2004 internationally.
Britney’s first ever legal download in the UK will be “Everytime,” available on all OD2 network sites, such as My Coke Music. The track will cost 99p (99 credits), and will be made available for download in the next few weeks.
“Everytime” has been added to the BBC Radio One playlist on the C-list this week, giving the song just under a month’s worth of airplay before the single is commercially released. The song has also been added to the Capital FM network playlist, meaning hundreds of local radio stations nationwide will now play the song.
Britney’s text messaging service has been launched in the UK, allowing fans to text Britney a personal message. Each week, Britney picks 5 messages and replies to them, which are then printed on a special web site.

“Everytime” is now available in Europe on 2-track CD, maxi CD and limited edition digipack maxi CD. The pock-it version is released in Germany on 17th May 2004.
