Britney nominated for four MTV Video Music Awards

Britney has been nominated for 4 MTV Video Music Awards, one of the only awards she is yet to win. “Toxic” is up for Video Of The Year 2004, Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Best Dance Video.

“Outrageous” released cancelled

A statement from BMG Germany states that following Britney’s knee injury, which led to the cancellation of the rest of the Onyx Hotel Tour, the release of the “Outrageous” single has also been cancelled. The statement goes on to add that, to give comfort to fans following this, Britney intends to release a greatest hits compilation this winter. “Outrageous” has also been cancelled in the UK, and has been removed from release schedules.

“In The Zone” reaches new UK peak

Nearly 9 months after it was released and entered the official UK top 40 albums chart at #14, “In The Zone,” has climbed to a new peak of #13 this week, after re-entering the top 20 at #19 last week. “Everytime” also climbs one place in the official UK top 40 singles chart, climbing back to #2 after falling to #3 last week.
