Britney writes letter to fans

Dear Fans

I am going to start writing this column now as often as possible. The reason being is so I can talk directly to you, my fans, who have stuck by me & who continue to support me. Also, I’m not going to be as busy as my Mom. She’s running behind my sister like crazy! I am also going to take some time off to enjoy life. I’ve actually learned to say “No!” With this newly found freedom, it’s like people don’t know how to act around me. Should we talk to her like we did when she was 16 or like the Icon everyone says she is? My prerogative right now is to just chill & let all of the other overexposed blondes on the cover of Us Weekly be your entertainment… GOOD LUCK GIRLS!!

Britney parts ways with Larry Rudolph

Britney and her manager, Larry Rudolph of ReignDeer Entertainment, have parted ways after their 9 year partnership, which saw Britney become established as a household name. Britney’s current contract with Rudolph is due to expire this year, and it has been mutually decided that the contract will not be renewed any further.

Larry has co-managed Britney since the very beginning, and took sole control in mid-2003, when he split from WEG management, where he worked with Johnny Wright, and launched his own company, ReignDeer management. Britney will continue to be managed on a day-to-day basis by Dan Dymtrow, who is leaving ReignDeer Entertainment to launch his own independent company.

Lynne’s Corner updated with engagement news

Wow! I know I’ve said we’ve had a whirlwind week before, but this one took the cake! We were ALL surprised! And that’s really saying something because it is very unlike Britney to be able to keep a secret. My first reaction was shock and then lingering thoughts of “what about her dress?” “what about the other plans?” and so on. Then I started thinking about how Jamie Lynn was getting her hair done and would be late to the ceremony!
