Britney has posted a message about the current hurricane in the USA, saying, “my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Lousiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and any other states that might be affected by Hurricane Katrina. All of my family members there are safe and thank you to all my fans for your concern.”
A Britney Spears remix collection is being worked on for release later this year, with new remixes being commissioned especially for the album. One of the new remixers is Dave Aude, who confirmed the collection, and has recently remixed “All About Us” for Russian duo, t.A.T.u. and “Don’t Cha” for the Pussycat Dolls, in addition to Gorillaz and New Order.
“Someday (I Will Understand)” is available in Europe from today, available in most countries on a limited edition 2-track CD, featuring the Hi-Bias remix and the original Guy Sigsworth production. You can also purchase both songs from iTunes UK for £1.49 here or, in protected Windows Media Audio, from 7Digital here!
With her due date fast approaching, the mum-to-be shares her thoughts and her photo album from her Moroccan-themed shower. She aced the word scramble, took first prize for memorizing the most baby-related items on a tray and likely would have won the “guess how big Britney’s belly is” contest had she been allowed to play. But there was one shower game Britney Spears didn’t even try to win: not saying the word “baby.” Guests were disqualified the moment they uttered the B-word, and “before anybody even caught her,” says Alyson Fox, whose company, Levine Fox Events, planned Spears’ Moroccan-themed 6th August shower, “Britney must have said ‘baby’ 50 times.”

“Someday (I Will Understand)” will not be released in the UK or USA, despite having spot radio play on BBC Radio 2. It will, however, be released as a single in Europe on 22nd August 2005. The tracklisting is as yet to be announced, but will include the single version, instrumental and the Leama and Moor remix.
