Britney talks album 8 with Ryan Seacrest

Whilst premiering “Ooh La La” on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS radio show, Britney spoke about her eighth album and the rumoured Vegas residency saying “Vegas is quite possible, yes – nothing confirmed yet! I would be doing yoga even without preparing for a show, as I love it. I’m doing a lot of yoga – it’s my go to thing at the moment. The first time I did it I didn’t like it at all, I think the key is finding a good teacher, someone that you connect with – it doesn’t feel like you’re bored or impatient, once you find the right instructor, it’s great and it does wonders for your body.”

On her eighth album she said “it’s at the beginning stages right now, it will be a little different from anything I’ve ever done. Will has a lot of interesting, really different tracks that I actually haven’t written on yet. I think people will be surprised – William Orbit is coming in next week for me to work with, I’ve never worked with him before so I’m really, really excited. I think the kids will appreciate it, but this music will have more of a cool approach to it. My sons are 6 and 7, so they’re getting to the stage of what’s cool and what’s not – they can’t kiss mommy in front of their friends! The album will be out by the end of the year.”

She also said she is loving Christmas potpourri which she was putting out as “it makes me happy” and Mariah Carey as she “loves her old school stuff!”

“Ooh La La” out now in the USA

“Ooh La La,” Britney’s new single from the “The Smurfs 2” has been released in the USA as a double-download with G.R.L’s debut single “Vacation.” The track was produced by Dr. Luke and was premiered on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, where Britney phoned in and spoke about the track, the video (which will feature her two boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James), and plans for her up-coming eighth album.

“It’s straight-up pop and has a young feel to it – my boys are obsessed with the Smurfs, they’re going to be in the video and that’s the reason why I did it! They were acting, and Preston was right on cue whenever he was asked to do anything – it was so funny! They play themselves, they see that their mommy is on the screen – I was in hair and make-up for a lot of their scenes, so I didn’t see it until later! The song is about feeling good, when a guy makes you giddy – it’s a good feeling! When I eat chocolate I have that ‘ooh la la’ feeling!”
