According to the Las Vegas Sun, Britney’s new single will be called “Make Me (Oooh)”, and she will shoot the video for the new single next Monday, with both being released four weeks later when editing is completed.
The report adds: “The single and the video will thrill fans because it’s all new, totally different and somewhat unexpected. It’s different; it’s a turn. She’s gone from pretty straight-forward pop to a really interesting vibe with a lot of really cool stuff.”
Whilst Britney’s new ninth studio album is currently unfinished, she is recording new songs and will begin adding finishing touches for the final product to apparently follow one month after the single’s release.
Robin Leach, from Las Vegas Sun, has posted on Twitter today that Britney will select her new single tomorrow, and shoot the video the following Monday with the album coming in 4 weeks: “Coming Monday at Vegas DeLuxe: Britney selects her new single and will shoot its video the following Monday with album coming in 4 weeks.”
The Sun and Mirror are reporting that Britney is to become Cinderella in the London Palladium 2016 pantomime. The report says that a deal, thought to be worth £500,000, has been offered to her to take to the stage in December.
If she signs up to the show she would be making history as the first lead in a pantomime fairytale at the venue for 30 years. A source revealed “everyone was confident” the chart-topper would put pen to paper for the five-week run. “It is very much based on the traditional Cinderella, with a few twists, Britney will feature and maybe sing a song or two – but the rest of the cast will carry the burden. There will be some big name co-stars. Britney was one of a number of big name stars who were approached – you name a female star they were approached – but the others didn’t work out and they have opted for her. She is a still huge name who is much-loved by British fans – she will definitely attract people to come along and see her. A star of her standing isn’t cheap – but she will be worth every penny if she can attract sell-out audiences,” said a source.
The report has been denied by Britney’s press representatives in the UK; however, it is thought that Caesars and Britney’s team were looking at the London Palladium as the venue for a mini-European residency version of Piece of Me.
