Britney Tweets from iHeartRadio

What’s your favourite song at the moment?
Right now, I’m loving Meghan Trainor’s “Me Too”

How did it feel to be back on the VMA stage after 10 years?
It felt SO GOOD to be back on the VMAs stage, and loved performing with G-Eazy!

Who were you most excited to see at the VMAs?
Everyone! Rihanna, Beyonce, Ariana… everything I saw or heard from my dressing room was great!

Any ideas for the next single?
Honestly, I have no idea! You all let me know what you think the next single should be…

Where is your most favourite place to visit?
This changes for me a lot, but I always love going to Hawaii. Been thinking of Paris lately…

What do you feel about Madonna? How has she influenced you through the years?
Madonna is a legend. I’m honored to have worked with her, and will always be inspired by her.

Do you like to cook or bake?
I sure do! I think I got that from my dad!

How has your day been?
My day is going great! Spent it with one of my favorite people… you’ll find out who it is soon!

If you hadn’t become the queen of pop, what other career would you have liked to have?
Good question! Maybe a school teacher!

Would you ever consider going on tour again?
Of course! I love Vegas, but there’s something special about being on the road too.

Will there be more music or is this your last album?
I can’t imagine not ever making music again!

What do you think about Fifth Harmony?
Very sweet, beautiful ladies. Was happy to see them take home 2 VMAs!

What was the best part of making “Glory”?
All of it. It was such an amazing experience, & made me remember why I love music so much.

Are we going to see more performances from you in the future?
Yup! I’ll see you all at the #iHeartRadio Music Festival this September in Las Vegas!

“Glory” at #2 in the UK midweek chart

Britney looks set to have another album enter the official UK top 75 albums chart at #2 this week, as “Glory” is currently being outsold by Barbra Streisand’s new album, “Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway,” by 6000 copies. The official chart is released on Friday; if Britney enters at #2, it will be her fourth albums to just miss out on the UK #1 spot following “…Baby One More Time,” “Oops!… I Did It Again,” “Greatest Hits: My Prerogative” and “Blackout,” and a massive improvement from the #34 peak of “Britney Jean.”

Britney to perform “Make Me” at the MTV VMAs

Fifteen years after she wowed us with her iconic “I’m A Slave 4 U” performance, 2011 Video Vanguard Britney Spears is back at the 2016 VMAs. Britney will be joined by rapper G-Eazy for the live premiere of her new single “Make Me…” The snake she wore like a scarf in 2001 is back, too — you can see her slithering around Brit’s dressing room in the below video clip, directed by experimental filmmaking duo Radical Friend.

Britney confirms MTV VMA performance with sizzle video

Britney has confirmed that she will be performing live at the MTV Video Music Awards 2016 on 28th August 2016, posting a sizzle video, following a snake that recalls her 2001 “I’m A Slave 4 U” performance, a veil from her 2003 performance with Madonna and a bodice from her 2000 performance of “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” and “Oops!… I Did It Again.”

Britney narrates the video, saying: “The VMAs don’t just give you a stage… they give you a story… it’s a way of taking a fraction of a second and making it live forever… before you know it, it’s history… before you know it, it’s Britney, bitch.”
